As a professional counselor, I work with clients using a developmental and wellness lens. This means that together we will assess where you are at in your life based on your age, stage, hopes and plans.
Dr. Delaney's new book, “Nature is Nurture: Counseling and the Natural World”, has been published by Oxford University Press and is available here. This book provides an overview of the theoretical basis of Ecotherapy, the current research supporting the healing qualities of nature as well as provide practitioners hands-on ways to involve nature in their everyday clinical work.
My therapeutic approach as well as my research and writing is focused on the concept of Ecotherapy.
Ecotherapy is the practice of integrating the natural world into our emotional health and well-being.
