Megan Delaney, PhD, LPC
Therapy Without Walls, LLC
As a professional counselor, I work with clients using a developmental and wellness lens. This means that together we will assess where you are at in your life based on your age, stage, hopes and plans.
The world for the young child and adolescent is complicated, fast paced and anxiety-provoking. As a mother myself, I see the stress first hand in my own children.
My writing and research explores the influence of natural world on our mental health and the use of Ecotherapy in clinical practice and the counselor education classroom. My book “Nature is Nurture: Counseling and the Natural World” will be published in 2019 through Oxford University Press.
My therapeutic approach as well as my research and writing is focused on the concept of Ecotherapy.
Ecotherapy is the practice of integrating the natural world into our emotional health and well-being.
